Learned The Hard Way

Why must people always push their ideals and methods on others? Think of a world with Indian tribes still in their own land, teaching the ways that had existed before oilfields and gold ruled the world at-large, a world without holy wars, where tobacco was outlawed before it became cool and somehow was allowed to cause cancer because of the tax revenues generated. How about letting other people make their own decisions within the laws of that land? Where might we be today?
